Zachary D. Slauter

Zachary D. Slauter, age 29 of Williamsport, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Zach was born on January 8, 1996 in Danville, IL. He was the son of Brian and Michelle Slauter and Teresa (Bolin) Slauter and Scott Boomershine. Zach was a 2014 graduate of Seeger High School. He worked at Tru Flex Metal Hose as a welder and hauled corn for Brad Freeman and Mike Gates. Zach was currently working as a nuclear engineer at C&D Trojan Battery.

Zach loved living life’s adventures. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed riding RZRs and four-wheelers and taking jeeps to the Badlands. He liked to listen to all kinds of music. Zach loved his family and friends and was very humble. He loved his dog, Angus, who was his baby.

Father, Brian Slauter (wife: Michelle);

Mother, Teresa Slauter (Scott Boomershine);

2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law, Jacob Parrish, Eric & Carol Parrish;

1 nephew, John Parrish,

4 nieces, Haley Parrish, Madison Parrish, Hannah Parrish, Grace Parrish;

Step-sister Kylie Henson and step-brother Erik Lintz;

Paternal grandparents, Bill & Teri Slauter,

Cousins, Mike and Kristin Barrett and Mona and Jerry McDougal;

Chris & Lorrie Reifel who Zach thought of as second parents;

Zach was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ted & Freda Bolin, great grandmother, Maxine Meredith, and great-aunt, Jaime Gates.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Our website will be updated with a date and time once scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to Paws N Claws.
