Shirley D. Zenor

Shirley D Zenor , 89 , of Williamsport, IN passed away on January 13, 2026 at 11:30PM in Williamsport. She was born on November 26, 1936 in Williamsport and was the daughter of Roland T. Brooks and Mary (Kokenburg).

Shirley graduated from Williamsport High School in 1954 and married her school sweetheart Robert W. Zenor on September 4th, 1955. They enjoyed almost 47 years together until Robert's passing on August 7th, 2002.

Shirley was a home-maker first and foremost, enjoying cooking for her family, particularly her family-famous noodles. Her and Robert were devoted parents to their 5 children, and her favorite sports teams were whichever Seeger Indian or Patriot team the kids were involved in, and she equally followed her grandchildren's activities later on in her life. Speaking of her grandchildren, there was always a bowl of sweets available and the light was always on for them, even if "Jeopardy", any westerns, or "The Golden GIrls" were being broadcast.

While raising her 5 children, Shirley was a teacher's aide at Warren Central Elementary School. After the kids had graduated, she worked for several years as a dietary aide at the nursing home in Attica, IN.

Shirley is survived by her

daughter Kathy Stone , sons James and Richard Zenor, grandchildren Jill Reynolds, Traci Cullum, Tyler Stone, Karsyn Albertson, Gage Zenor, great-grandchildren Payton and Chase Cullum, Jacob Reynolds, Lainey Stone, sister Alice Howard and Helen Wagner.

She was preceded in death by husband Robert W. Zenor, son John Zenor, daughter Deborah Sue Zenor and her parents.

A visitation for Shirley will be held at Grady Funeral Home, 111 E. Monroe St. in Williamsport on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 10:00AM - 12:00PM, with her funeral service starting at noon, Pastor Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport. Instead of flowers, the family asks that any donations in Shirley's memory be made to the Dementia Society of America
