Ruth B. (Crowder) Coleman

Ruth B. (Crowder) Coleman, age 92 of Williamsport, IN last night joined the angel choir at 8:30 p.m. on July 27, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Ruth was born December 19, 1927 in Parke County, IN. She was the daughter of Ned “Bud” Crowder and Leona (Glaze) Crowder. Ruth attended Kingman schools.
She married Simon Coleman Jr. on June 5, 1945.

Ruth resided in Warren County for over sixty years. She was a member of Church of GOD in Veedersburg.IN, and had been attending the Attica Free Methodist Church with her daughter. Ruth enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crafting. She loved her dogs, and was affectionately known as “the worm lady”, selling worms for over 20 years.

Surviving are,

1 daughter Billie Jo Anne Pummill (husband: David) of Williamsport, IN

11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Simon Coleman, Jr.; son, Roger Coleman, 2 daughters, Donna Siefert, and Sandra Smith; 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Private services and burial were conducted at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport, IN with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating.
