On October 3, 1992, Dewayne married the love of his life, Evelyn Auxier, in a beautiful ceremony in Montmorenci, Indiana. Together, they built a life filled with love and joy. Dewayne was a devoted father to two daughters, Rashelle (Skyler) Avis and Candace (Chad) Sallee, who brought immense pride and happiness into his life. His family was further blessed with the laughter and joy of his grandchildren, Sophia Wade, Bryson Wade, Brantley Carlile, and Taytum Carlile, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Dewayne is also survived by his parents Richard and Shanda Sallee, and his brother Rod Sallee. Dewayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Agnes Sallee, Ford and Leva Bell, and his beloved family pet, "Bear".
Dewayne's journey was enriched by the love of his parents, who provided him with a foundation of support and guidance to which he shared with his wife, daughters and grandchildren.
