Patricia "Patty" M. (Henderson) Inman

Patricia “Patty” M. (Henderson) Inman, age 82 of West Lebanon, IN passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 2:40 a.m. at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.

Patty was born on April 30, 1941.  She was the daughter of Cecil and Bernice (Dubre) Henderson.  She graduated from State Line Grade School and was a 1958 graduate of Covington High School.  She was a lifelong resident of Warren County.  She married Mearle J. Inman on July 5, 1958 in State line, IN.  He survives.  After her marriage she and Mearle moved to West Lebanon where they have resided the past 44 years. 

Patty was a homemaker.  She was a seamstress for Medline in Covington, IN and later a cook at Benjamin’s in Covington.  She also drove an over the road semi with her husband for 5 years.  Patty was a member of the Williams Chapel in Johnsonville.  She was a member of a CB Club that benefited Cerebral Palsy.  Her handle was Wood Tick.  When her children were young she enjoyed playing board games with them.  She enjoyed crocheting, and playing card and dice games. 

Surviving with her husband, Mearle, are, children, Ronald E. Inman (Debbie) of Marshfield, IN, Alan Inman (significant other: Melinda Corwin) of Tangier, IN, Jerry Inman (Cindy) of Perrysville, IN, Robin Hann of West Lafayette, IN and Rhonda Howard (Leslie) of Frankfort, IN; 13 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.  Patty was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Connie Jo Inman, 2 sisters, Betty Amos and Beverly Dowers, and 1 brother, Tommy Madison.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Cunningham officiating.  Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
