Nicholas Wayne "Nick" Edwards

Nicholas Wayne “Nick” Edwards, age 41 of Williamsport, IN passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 1:09 p.m. due to complications from COVID-19.

Nick was born on June 23, 1979 in Oxford, OH. He was the son of Mary Edwards. Nick was raised in Oxford, OH and had lived in Danville, IN. He was a graduate of Talawanda High School in Oxford, OH and later the University of Northwestern Ohio. He moved to Williamsport, IN in 2016 and has resided there since. Nick married Kendra L. (Verhey) Ford on October 30, 2020 in Pine Village, IN and she survives.

Nick had worked as a wind technician at EDF in Benton County since 2016. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. Nick was a Cincinnati Reds fan and Michigan Wolverines fan. He loved his dogs Luke and Lily and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

1 Daughter, Rileigh of Williamsport, IN;

Mother, Mary Edwards (companion: Jim Hughes of Fort Wayne, IN);

1 Sister, Michelle Edwards Fox of Germantown, OH;

Aunt and uncle, Darrell and Lisa Edwards of Danville, IN;

Mother-in-law, Gayla Verhey of Attica, IN;

Sister-in-law, Ashley (Darin) Rinehart of Oxford, IN;

1 Nephew, Taylor (Carrigan) Fox;

3 Nieces, Mary Lou Fox, Shelby Fox, and Jossalyn Rinehart

Nick was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Henry R. Edwards and father-in-law, Gary Verhey.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 1:00 p.m. with sister-in-law Ashley Rinehart officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport. Memorial contributions may be made to Seeger FFA or Attica-Fountain Central Archery Team.
