Nancy E. (Wilson) Mickle

Nancy E. (Wilson) Mickle,74, of Williamsport passed away on May 25, 2025, at Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Williamsport.

Nancy was born February 13, 1951, in Danville, IL, to Harold and M. Mae (Howard) Wilson. She grew up in Williamsport graduating from Williamsport Highschool in 1969. Not long after graduating high school she met the man who would eventually be the love of her life, David Mickle, who was smitten with her after hearing her lovely voice and seeing her beautiful long hair. They married on November 27, 1972, and eventually settled down in Williamsport. Nancy spent most of her life working as a typesetter at the Attica Ledger Tribune from where she retired.

She loved the outdoors and Nancy and David enjoyed spending time camping and fishing throughout the area. She very much enjoyed spending time with family, and was quite a good cook.

Nancy was survived by her husband David of 52 years; sister Marilyn (Sonny) Billingsly; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Harold E. Wilson; and sister Debbie Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a Friday, May 30, 2025, at Grady Funeral Home, 111 E. Monroe Street, in Williamsport. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9 am until the time of the service at 10. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Williamsport.
