Mildred Bernice (Rowe) Taylor

Mildred Bernice (Rowe) Taylor, age 88 of Williamsport, IN, passed away at 12:32 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Williamsport Nursing and Rehab. Mildred was born on May 22, 1932 in Covington, IN. She was the daughter of Henry and Hazel (Lewsader) Rowe. Mildred was married to Calvin Taylor for 49 years. They married on September 14, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1996. Mildred worked at Medline Sewing Factory making hospital gowns. She retired after 25 years. Mildred was a member of the Covington Christian Church. She enjoyed line dancing, country music, and western themes. Surviving are, 2 children, Bill (Kathy) Taylor of Williamsport, IN and Marianna (Rick) Ogborn of Williamsport, IN; 2 brothers, Dick (Judy) Rowe of FL and David Rowe of IN; 4 grandchildren, Doug Taylor, Beth (Bob) Snedeker, Jeff Grubbs, and Mark Grubbs; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild Mildred was preceded in death by her twin children, Jackline Linn and Jerry Lee Taylor and a granddaughter, Chaneé Ogborn. Visitation will be Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery with a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. Due to COVID-19, the family has requested that you wear a mask and social distance. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
