Michael D. "Jonesy" Jones entered into his heavenly home on June 18, 2026. He was a cherished husband, father, “Papi”, brother, and friend whose presence brought joy, laughter, and loyalty to those who knew him. Most importantly, Michael had recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and received the gift of the Holy Spirit in baptism, giving his family great comfort and hope in the promise of eternal life.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents James and Margaret Jones; close friends Sam Manus, Adam Maynard, and Patty Savage; as well as his beloved dog, Bella.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Jones; daughter, Jasmine Jones (Joseph Houck), and his treasured grandchildren, Ivory Jade Houck and Marley Houck. Michael embraced Anna Campbell and Rachel Smith as daughters and cherished them throughout his life.

MIchael is also survived by his sisters, Denise Tonner (Mike), Teri Boat, Donna Mullins (Arlie), Diana Collins (Ervin), and Christie Jones; as well as his brother, Jim Jones (Claudia); his in-laws, Dannie and Jan Jones, his stepson Matt Watts (Madison) and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

“Jonesy” leaves behind special lifelong friends who were like family to him: Mike Marshall, Tony Savage, Jason McGowen, and Lennie Sells Jr.

For more than 20 years, Michael faithfully worked at TMF Manufacturing, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he was a diehard fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Whether celebrating victories or enduring tough seasons, his loyalty to his team never wavered.

Above all, Michael loved his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a beloved "Papi." Nothing brought a bigger smile to his face than talking with his daughter Jasmine and granddaughters Ivory and Marley, who were truly the light of his life and his greatest joys.

Michael will be remembered for his love of family, his loyalty to friends, his sense of humor, and the faith he embraced in the final chapter of his life. Though he will be deeply missed, those who love him rejoice in the assurance that he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior.

A Celebration of Life honoring Mike's life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM (EST) at Grady Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to a visitation beginning just prior to the service at 1:00 PM (EST).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
