Michael R. Rennick, age 53 of Williamsport, IN passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 17, 2022.

Mike was born on June 18, 1969 in Lafayette, IN. He was the son of Ronald R. and Mary (Solomon) Rennick. Mike was raised in Attica and had later lived in West Lebanon and Covington. He had resided in Williamsport the past 15 years. Mike was a 1988 graduate of Attica High School. 
Mike married Nina L. Douglas on September 25, 1999 in West Lebanon, IN and she survives.

Mike was a paramedic and later an advanced EMT. He previously served on the Attica Volunteer Fire Department. Mike worked at Harrison Steel Casting Company and later TMF in the maintenance departments. Mike started his own business, Pioneer Electric in 2008. He was an ordained minister and married his son and daughter-in-law, Austin and Jocelyn.

Mike grew up attending the presbyterian church in Attica. He loved tinkering with anything with a motor and restoring things. He loved go-karts, snowmobiling, boating, and cooking. Mike especially enjoyed electronics and was a wiz. He enjoyed video gaming and built maps for gaming. Mike loved to make people laugh with his corny jokes and pranks. He loved his cats, especially Roo, Sissy, Brother, and Cubby Bear.

Mother, Mary Solomon Rennick of Lafayette, IN;
3 sons, Trevor Rennick (wife: Courtney) of Effingham, IL, Austin Rennick (wife: Jocelyn) of Oxford, IN, and Caleb Rennick (fiancé: Stahr) of Williamsport, IN;
2 sisters, Toni Walter (husband: Don) of Williamsport, IN and Michelle Lowery (husband: Larry) of Lafayette, IN;
3 grandchildren, Klaire, Averee, and Elaina

Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Marie Rennick and maternal grandparents, Charlie and Mary Solomon.

Visitation will be held at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Private graveside services will be at Highland Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Iroquois County Animal Rescue, 100 Lincoln Ave, Iroquois, IL 60945 or any no kill cat rescue of donor’s choice.
