Kim P. (Baldwin) Askren, age 68 of Williamsport, IN, passed away at 4:14 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette surrounded by her loving family. Kim was born in Clinton, IN on November 22, 1950. She was the daughter of Paul F. Baldwin and Rosalie A. Lark Cargal, of Williamsport, IN. She lived in Newtown and was a 1968 graduate of Fountain Central High School. She moved to Attica and lived there until moving to Williamsport where she has resided since 1989. She married Bill Askren Sr. and they later divorced. Kim worked at SIA for 22 years and enjoyed fixing up houses. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are, 2 children, Jodi Askren Slager (Mike) of Williamsport, IN and Jeremy Askren (Ashley) of Attica, IN; Companion of 33 years, Ron Barnett of Williamsport, IN; Siblings, Vicki Thomas of Ladoga, IN, John Baldwin (Tresa) of West Lafayette, IN; Sister-in-law, Pat Baldwin of North Carolina; Grandchildren, Meghan (Devin) Grant and Mackenzie Slager; Great-grandchildren, Desmond and Gavin Wallace; Aunt, Charlotte Jones of Noblesville, IN; Uncle, Carl Prulheire of Clinton, IN; Several nieces, nephews, and cousins; Beloved dog, Sweetie Kim was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Joe Baldwin.
