Janet Sue Brooks

Janet Sue Brooks, 75, of Williamsport, passed away at 6:05 pm, September 7, 2025.  

Janet was born in Alabama on July 28, 1950 to Lorado "Buck" and Joyce (Burleson) Britton.  On February 7, 1966 she was united in marriage to Donald Dean Brooks; they shared over 55 years of marriage before his passing.  Together they had three children: Donald Dean Brooks II, Darla Sue Galloway, and WIlliam Jeff Brooks.

Janet was an artist who has paintings in several libraries throughout Indiana.  

She is survived by her children; grandchildren Christian Brooks, Bradley Galloway, Thomas Galloway, Clayton Brooks, Megan Costello, Olivia Perez, Zachery Brooks-Ellis, Aleah Weber, Trey Brooks-Ellis, and Liam Brooks; great-grandchildren: Paige Jackson, Adrianna Conley, Alexander Brooks, Madalynn Galloway, Izabella Galloway, Conner Galloway, Cooper Galloway, Nathan Costello, Aiden Galloway, Noah Costello, Cassidy Galloway, Amelia Weber, Addelyn Weber, Daisy Brooks-Ellis, Charles Weber and Magnolia Galloway, Adryen Brooks and Claire Brooks; and great-great-grandchild Georgia Conley.
