Gloria A. Marlatt

Gloria A. Marlatt, age 71 of Williamsport, IN, passed away at 8:39 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette. Gloria was born on September 20, 1951 in Williamsport, IN. She was the daughter of Howard and Mary O. (Drummond) Marlatt. Gloria was a 1969 graduate of Williamsport High School and later graduated from airline school. She was raised in Warren County until moving to Connecticut in 1969. Gloria moved back to Williamsport in 2000 and had resided there since. Following her graduation from airline school, Gloria briefly worked for various airlines. She then worked as an underwriter for AETNA Insurance Company. Gloria then worked at Purdue University in President Martin Jischke’s office. She later worked as a clerk for the Williamsport Utility Office for over 10 years until her retirement. Gloria had attended Williamsport Christian Church. She was an advising board member for Danny Kincade, Washington Township Trustee. Gloria enjoyed reading and loved pets. Surviving are: Mother, Mary Marlatt of Williamsport, IN; Sister, Linda Lucas (Bill) of Williamsport, IN; Nephew, Tony Lucas (Trish); Niece, Sueann Pierski (Tom); Nephew-in-law, Kevin Owens; Great nephew & nieces, Andy Lucas, Taylor Lucas, Wayne Lucas Owens, Tad Pierski, and Miles Pierski Gloria was preceded in death by her father; aunt, Carolyn Arnold; niece, Mechel Owens; and Max the Cat. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport.
