Fay LaVone Garrison

Fay LaVone (Jordan) Garrison, age 100, of Williamsport, IN, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Perrysville, IN.

LaVone was born in Williamsport, IN on November 2, 1924. She was the daughter of John Vincent and Mabel Marie (Allen) Jordan. She was the last surviving graduate of West Lebanon High School class of 1943. LaVone was a life-long resident of Warren County.

LaVone married Warren Keith Garrison on January 15, 1944, in Williamsport, IN. Warren preceded her in death on January 18, 2013.

Surviving is a daughter, Vera (Terry) Wooster of Perrysville, IN; 1 grandson, Keir Wooster of Perrysville, IN; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. LaVone was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Theresa Ann Garrison; her parents; 2 brothers, Max, and Porter Jordan; and a sister, Marlene Wesley.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Pastor Darryl Dorton of Hyde Park United Methodist Church will officiate with burial to follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
