Minnie L. (Pugh) Smith

Minnie Lou (Pugh) Smith, age 87 of Attica, IN passed away at 6:05 am on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the St. Clare Medical Center in Crawfordsville, IN. Minnie was born in Williamsport, IN on August 25, 1922. She was the daughter of Joe and Mildred (White) Pugh. She was a 1940 graduate of Attica High School. She had lived most of her life in Shawnee Township in Attica. On June 19, 1941 she married Ray Smith, Jr. in Williamsport. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1987. Minnie was a homemaker and a school bus driver. Surviving are, 2 children, William J. Smith (wife: Jane P.) of Indianapolis, IN and Pamela J. Alenduff (husband: John) of Attica, IN; 5 grandchildren, Kinda K. Lashley, Thad I. Smith, Mary Glassburn, Edward Alenduff, and Andrew Alenduff and 8 great-grandchildren. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, James Lee Pugh. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. with William Alenduff officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Attica. Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
