Janice (Claypool) Hanson

Janice (Claypool) Hanson, age 71 of Plymouth, IN, formerly of Warren County, died at 11:35 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth, IN. Janice was the daughter of Ralph and Esther (Lucas) Claypool. She was born February 3, 1939 in Warren County, IN. She attended Judyville school and was a 1957 graduate of West Lebanon High School. On May 27, 1957 she married Richard L. Hanson in West Lebanon. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1993. Janice was a homemaker. She was loved board games, watching TV and socializing. Surviving are, 5 sons, Robert L. Hanson (wife: Jeanie), William Hanson, Bryan D. Hanson, and Kirk L. Hanson all of Plymouth, IN and Richard W. Hanson of St. Petersburg, FL; 3 daughters, Penny A. Ulloa (husband: Moises) and Mary E. Suarez (husband: Luis), both of Plymouth, IN and Kimberly S. Cretcher (husband: Shawn) of Bourbon, IN; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 5 brothers, Ralph, Bill, Tom, Gary, and Jim Claypool. Janice was preceded in death by 1 brother, Charlie Claypool. Graveside services will be held at West Lebanon Cemetery on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Williams officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery.
