Kevin Lee Brandenburg

Kevin Lee Brandenburg, age 55 of Howard, IN, died at 10:00 pm on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Rockville Nursing and Rehab. Kevin was born in Clinton, IN on August 5, 1954. He was the son of Kenneth and Virginia (Wilson) Brandenburg. He was a 1974 graduate of Turkey Run High School. He was formerly married to Mary Bell. He was a Howard, IN resident all of his life. Kevin retired from the State Highway Department in Crawfordsville. He played bass and guitar for local bands in his younger years. He loved camping, fishing and outdoor activities. Surviving are, 2 daughters, Ginny Brandenburg and Jamie Brandenburg both of Howard, IN; 5 brothers, Daryl L. Brandenburg (wife: Diana), Melvin G. Brandenburg, Ronnie S. Brandenburg all of Indianapolis, and Edward B. Brandenburg and Donnie K. Brandenburg both of Tangier, IN; and 5 grandchildren, Kamryn Welty, James Welty, Jr., Anthony Brandenburg, Reese Brandenburg, and Nathaniel Woody. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be there in the chapel on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery.
