John E. Levite

John Elisha Levite transferred to the Church Triumphant to be with his Savior on Monday, March 13, 2017. He was born on November 19, 1932 in Danville, Illinois and was 84 at the time of his death. John was a resident of Kindred Healthcare in Indianapolis, Indiana for the past several years where he passed away peacefully from natural causes. Formally, he lived in West Lafayette, Indiana with his wife Naomi until her death in 2010. He is survived by one brother, David Levite, of Danville, Illinois and two sons: Daniel Levite and his wife, Debra of Fishers, Indiana and Samuel Levite and his wife, Lynn of Plainfield, Indiana. He was the grandfather of JD Levite, Taylor Abbott, Laura Layne Price and Rachel Levite. He was the great-grandfather of Lylianne, Myles, Lawson, M.E. and Dean.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Wesleyan Church, 9709 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN.
