Bryan L. Bowlus, age 43 of Williamsport, died at 9:46 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Bryan was born in Williamsport, IN on September 10, 1965. He was the son of Larry Lee and Vickie (Reynolds) Bowlus. He was raised in rural Veedersburg and was a 1983 graduate of Fountain Central High School. He resided in Williamsport since 1984. On October 27, 1984 he married Mary Catherine Claypool at the Williamsport Christian Church. She survives. Bryan had worked at Harrison Steel Casting Co. in Attica for 13 years. He currently owned and operated Bowlus Waste Removal since 1988. He enjoyed watching sports especially football and basketball. He loved watching his sons play football. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1482 Attica, the Attica Eagles, and the Attica VFW Post #3318. He enjoyed golfing and singing karaoke. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving with his wife, Cathy, are 3 children, Beau Bowlus (companion: Elizabeth) of Williamsport, and Kelsey Bowlus and Trevor Bowlus both at home Parents, Larry & Vickie Bowlus of Veedersburg, IN 2 brothers, Curtis Bowlus (wife: Chris) of Attica, IN and Mark Bowlus (wife: Lori) of Veedersburg, IN 1 sister, Tammy Myers (husband: Bill) of Terre Haute, IN Father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Mary Etta Claypool of Williamsport Maternal grandmother, Betty Reynolds of Lafayette Grandson, Talon Bowlus 13 nieces and nephews Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 11:00 am until service time at 3:00 pm with Pastor Dave Adams officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport. Memorial donations may be made to the family or to the American Heart Association.
