Ronald "Ronnie" William Standeford, Jr.

Ronald “Ronnie” William Standeford, Jr., age 49 of Attica, IN died on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette, IN. Ronnie was born in Indianapolis, IN. He was the son of Ronald William Standeford, Sr. and Colleen Joy (Mock) Williams. He was a graduate of Greenfield High School in 1985. He married Melissa Rene Milbourn in 1985 in Ohio. He later married Charlotte Louise Elrod in 1995 in Lebanon, IN. Ronnie worked doing maintenance at an apartment community in Indianapolis, IN and Wabash National, was a maintenance supervisor for Dana in Northern Kentucky, an over the road trucker for Maverick, and most recently as a driver for Frito Lay. Ronnie served in the US Navy as a Seebee. He was a member of the Elks Club and the American Legion Post #72 in Crawfordsville, IN. He was an Indianapolis Colts fan and loved to go hunting, fishing and enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed sewing and woodworking and especially enjoyed his time with his family. Surviving are, Mother, Colleen Joy (Mock) Williams (Joseph) of Indianapolis, IN Daughter, Ashley Rene (Standeford) Peterson (Michael) of Sulphur, LA Step-daughter, Crystal R. (Copeland) Leflar (Justin) of Albuquerque, NM Step-son, Bradley James Copeland (Haley) of Crawfordsville, IN Adopted children, Michael Grayson Standeford and James Phelan Standeford, both of Crawfordsville, IN, Tayla Daniel Standeford, Natasha Rose Standeford, and Sean Stahly all of Attica, IN Siblings, Dianna Cline (Steve) of Greenwood, IN, Christopher T. Standeford and Kimberly Penley (John) both of Bangor, MI. Terry Ambrose (Chrissy), Sean Ambrose, and Amy Deane (Tommy) all of Indianapolis, IN Step-sisters, Francie Jo Holycross of GA and Tammy Sue Hamilton (Andrew) of Apple Valley, CA Grandchildren, Avacyn Copeland and Cian Summers Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Standeford, Sr., wife, Charlotte “Charlie” and step-mother, Diana Standeford. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at noon with sister, Dianna Cline officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Lincoln Memorial in Lebanon, IN with military honors.
