Leah "Ann" Annette Argue

Leah Annette Argue passed away peacefully January 30, 2016 surrounded by her family. Born in Lafayette, Indiana, Ann was the daughter of the late Vernon and Marjorie Tate, Williamsport, Indiana. She received her nursing degree from the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Lafayette where she met her future husband, Gary Argue, a Canadian, who was completing his PhD in electrochemistry at Purdue University. They moved to Dallas, Texas where they both started their professional careers. Ann was an accomplished surgical room nurse who was constantly in demand by all the surgeons. Their careers took them to Los Angeles, Boston, New York and finally to Scottsdale in 1980 where Ann continued as a surgical nurse and Gary was the Vice President of Research at Arizona State until his retirement. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard, and her husband. Survivors include sons, Gary Ramsey Argue II (Bridgett), Scottsdale, Thomas Scott Argue (Margaret), Scottsdale, and a brother David Tate (Maureen) of West Lafayette, Indiana. Grandchildren, Nikolai Argue, Alexandra Argue, Molly Argue and Olivia Argue. Ann was known for her generosity and acts of kindness to those in need.  On Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport, IN there will be graveside services for Gary and Leah Annette (Tate) Argue.  Leah Annette (Ann) is the daughter of Vernon and Marjorie Tate, of Williamsport, Indiana. As Gary and Ann’s son, I, Gary Argue II, would love to invite you to meet my wife Bridgette Argue, daughter Alexandria Argue and son Nikolai Argue to share your memories of the Tate and Argue families.
