Martha L. (Crow) Pugh

Martha L. (Crow) Pugh, age 97 of Williamsport, IN died on Monday, January 19, 2015 at her residence. Martha was born in Warren County, IN on January 16, 1918. She was the daughter of Russell L. and Ruth (Strain) Crow. She was a graduate of Warren County schools. Martha was a lifelong resident of Warren County and had resided in Williamsport since 1946. She married Ronald “Steve” Pugh on October 8, 1938 in Covington, IN. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1981. Martha was a homemaker and attended the Attica Presbyterian Church. She and her husband loved fishing together. She was an avid mushroom hunter and enjoyed playing euchre. Martha was quite the gardener, raising pole beans and picking strawberries just this last summer. Surviving are, great-niece and nephews, Pam Alenduff (husband: John), Bill Smith (wife: Jane) and Mike Pugh (wife: Lynn); and very good friends, Jon & Rhonda Inman, Joyce VanDame, Robert Folk, Dana Goodman, Kathleen Kitch, Pam & Mike Murr, Christy Carr and Maya Carr. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 sister, Freda Butler. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 10:00 until service time at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
