Larry I. Riegle

Larry I. Riegle, age 72 of West Lebanon, IN died at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Woodland Manor Nursing Center in Attica, IN. Larry was born in Morocco, IN on July 29, 1942. He was the son of Amil and Helen (Dubea) Riegle. He attended school in Brook, IN. On August 4, 1962 he married Miriam R. Hittle in Berrien County, MI. She survives. Larry resided in Dwight, IL for 28 years before moving to West Lebanon, IN where he had been the past 18 years. Larry farmed in Brook, IN and then later worked for Caterpillar for 30 years retiring in 1996. He had attended the West Lebanon Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed metal detecting and working on computers. Surviving with his wife, Miriam are, 4 children, Wesley L. Riegle of rural Williamsport, IN, Rosemary M. Buhrmaster (Bruce) of Aurora, IL, Sheryl L. Wardell (Darren) of Dwight, IL and Teresa A. McGeorge (Jon) of Marseilles, IL; siblings, Nellie May of Jackson, MI, Martha Deno (Jim) of Brook, IN, Betty Myers of Brook, IN, Paul “Tony” Riegle of Mountain Home, AR, and Walter Riegle of Kentland, IN; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mary Gravesen and a brother, Lawrence Riegle. Visitation will be at the West Lebanon Church of the Nazarene on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be there on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob Trafford officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery.
