Robert F. Hunter

Robert F. Hunter, age 83 of Williamsport, died at 8:43 a.m. EDT on Friday, September 26, 2008 at the Waters of Williamsport. Robert was born on July 28, 1925 in Warren County, Indiana. He was the son of Herbert and Shirley (Clark) Hunter. He was a 1943 graduate of Williamsport High School. He married Patsy Bowlus in 1952. Robert was a Warren County resident all of his life and a farmer. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church in West Lebanon. He enjoyed auto racing and was a motorcycle enthusiast. Surviving are, 1 son, Dennis C. Hunter (wife: Sherry) of Lafayette; 1 daughter, Ginger H. Such (husband: Al) of Indianapolis; and 4 grandchildren, Angela Williams (husband: Nick), Megan Hunter, Carrie S. Zeller (husband: Zachary), and Ted Such. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, William Hunter and H. Park Hunter, and a nephew, William Glaze. Family and friends are invited to graveside services that will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. EDT at West Lebanon Cemetery with Rev. Roger McDaniel officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Presbyterian Church in West Lebanon or the Waters of Williamsport.
