Judy A. (Smart) Oteham

Judy A. (Smart) Oteham, age 75 of Williamsport, died at 7:41 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Judy was born on July 23, 1933 in Rockville, IN. She was the daughter of Robert and Fern (Ireland) Smart. She moved to Attica in 1945 and has resided in Williamsport since 1970. Judy was a 1951 graduate of Attica High School. She then attended Rudae’s Beauty School. Judy was a business woman and owned 1st Lady Beauty Salon in Williamsport. On June 29, 1952 she married Robert D. Oteham in Attica and they later divorced. Judy was a member of the Attica Williamsport Presbyterian Church. She was an artist, attending John Herron Art Institute in Indianapolis. Judy was renowned for helping the poor and underprivileged and those in need. Surviving are, 1 daughter, Roberta Scott (husband: Jeff) of Attica, IN; 3 sons, Wayne Oteham (wife: Ann) of Brownsburg, IN, Larry Oteham (wife: Wendy) of St. Louis, MO, and Rex Oteham (wife: Holli) of Otterbein, IN; 1 brother, Jim Smart (wife: Charlotte) of Attica, IN; 6 grandchildren, Eric, Norma, Lori, Kristi, Lauren, Ashley and Rich; and 3 great-grandchildren, Carson, Aley, Maezi. Judy was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Miles. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. EDT until service time of 4:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Parks will be officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Attica. Memorial donations may be made to the Warren County Community Foundation.
