Mary Magdeline (Cooper) Kyle, age 89 of Attica, IN died at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Indiana Veterans Home.
Mag was born in Lawrenceville, IL on May 29, 1925. She was the daughter of Paul and Blanche (Wells) Cooper. She married Thomas L. Kyle on March 19, 1943. She lived with her parents while Tom was overseas during the war years. When he returned they resided in Fordsville, KY, Cannelton, IN until 1962 when they moved to Lafayette. In the late 1970’s they moved to Gainesville and then Summerville, FL. They moved to Attica in 2004. She was preceded in death by Tom on December 23, 2012.
Mag was a homemaker and loving wife and mother. She ws dedicated to ther Baptist faith and was an active member of the Elston Heights Baptist Church, the First Baptist Church of Summerfield and the Attica Southern Baptist Church. She helped start several Southern Baptist Missions. Mag was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning and cooking, reading, bird watching and crafting.

2 sisters-in-law, Sudie Nix of Cannelton, IN and Anita Killams (husband: Prentice) of Gainesville, FL
5 grandchildren, Bradley Kyle (wife: Rebecca), Troy Kyle (wife: Dawn), Melissa Kyle, Patty Sparger (husband: Steve), and Marvin Kyle, Jr. (wife: Becky)
Magdeline was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie; granddaughter, Regina Krick; brother, Wilbur; and 2 sisters, Margie and Betty.
Service will be at the Indiana Veterans Home, West Lafayette, IN in the Auditorium of the MacArthur Building on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Hess officiating. Interment will be at the Indiana Veterans Home Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Indiana Veterans Home, 3851 North River Rd., West Lafayette, IN 47906, Attn: Donated funds.
