Jerry R. Jones

Jerry R. Jones, age 57 of Attica, IN died at 7:16 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis. Jerry was born in Williamsport, IN on May 21, 1951. He was the son of Lones Croft and Alberta (Johnson) Jones. He was a Fountain and Warren County resident most of his life. He attended Boswell school and Benton Central High School. He married Brenda Sue Stout on August 24, 1991 in West Lebanon, IN. She survives. Jerry had worked on a farm and was a truck driver. He loved Nascar, especially Jeff Gordon. He also enjoyed baseball and football, especially the Chicago Cubs and the Indianapolis Colts. He liked camping, fishing and watching Indiana Hoosier basketball. Surviving with his wife are, children, Wendy Goodman (husband: Tracy) of Lafayette, IN, Jamy Jones (girlfriend: Christina) of Lafayette, IN, Clistna Stout (boyfriend: Joey Chasko) of Attica, IN, Risty Stout (girlfriend: Rebbeca Chasko) of Attica, IN, Christina Hochstetler (husband: Chad) of Nappanee, IN, and Bryon Jones (wife: Stephanie) of Nappanee, IN; 2 sisters, Brenda Allen (husband: Richard) of Mansfield, OH, and Gail Holycross (husband: Dennis) of Attica, IN; 1 brother, Ronald Jones of Lafayette, IN; and 14 grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stephen Allen Jones. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Monday, August 25, 2008 from 3:30 p.m. EDT until service time of 5:30 p.m. EDT. Rev. William Sebald will be officiating. Interment will be at Jordan Cemetery in Pence, IN. The family request that memorial contributions be made to offset funeral expenses.
