Charles William "Bill" Mathews

Charles William “Bill” Mathews, age 66 of St. Cloud, FL died at 8:03 a.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Orlando Regional Hospital in Orlando, FL. Born December 4, 1941 in Warren County, he was the son of Bert and Genevia (Courtney) Mathews. He had resided in Indiana in earlier years and was a current resident of Florida. He was a 1961 graduate of Seeger High School. Bill worked at South Bend Drug Company for 15 years in South Bend. He moved to Orlando, FL working for the drug company for a few years and then moved to St. Cloud, FL and worked for Budget Car Rental until retirement. He enjoyed people and loved music and playing the piano. Surviving are his mother, Genevia Mathews of Williamsport; one sister, Barbara Joanne Thomas (husband: Austin) of Williamsport; three brothers, Donald Mathews of Attica, IN, Larry Mathews (wife: Becky) and Tom Mathews both of Williamsport and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bert Mathews and two brothers, Robert and Richard Mathews. Graveside services will be held at Jordan Cemetery in Pence, IN on Monday, August 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. EDT with Rev. Don Williams officiating.
