Mary E. (McCray) Southard

Mary E. (McCray) Southard, age 81 of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Williamsport, died at 6:35 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at her residence.    Mary was born on August 2, 1932 in Danville, IL and was the daughter of August and Cloie (West) McCray.  She graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1950. On January 24, 1953 she married Russell L. Southard in Cayuga, IN.  He preceded her in death on April 22, 2013.   Mary worked in the dietary department at the Williamsport Community Hospital.  She was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church and an avid photographer.   Surviving are, 2 daughters, Lynn Scheurich (husband: James) of Williamsport, Melinda Gail Stinnett (husband: Randy) of Indianapolis, IN 1 son, Richard Lee Southard (wife: Wendi) of Williamsport 3 grandsons 2 great-grandchildren   Visitation will be at the Williamsport Christian Church on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Williams officiating.  Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamsport Christian Church Home Missions Fund.
