OBITUARY (For Immediate Release) Dateline: Nashville, TN Carl S. “Stan” Bowen, age 51 of Nashville, TN, formerly of Warren County, IN, died on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Stan was born on June 4, 1962 in Lafayette, IN. He was a 1980 graduate of Seeger High School. He was a Warren County resident before moving to Nashville, TN where he resided the past 20 years. Stan had attended Independence Baptist Church. Stan loved his dog, Zeva. He enjoyed gardening and flowers and loved being outdoors. He never met a stranger and everyone loved him. Surviving are, His parents, Wayne and Martha (Hill) James of Rainsville, IN Longtime friend of 20 years, Alan Caudell of Nashville TN 2 nephews, Brandon and Kenny Bowen 2 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces Several aunts, uncles and cousins Stan was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin L. Bowen. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be there on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Elder Ron Geyer officiating. Interment will be at Rainsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
