Kenneth “Kenny” R. Kietzman, age 91 of Williamsport, died at 5:15 P.M. EDT Saturday, May 24, 2008 at The Waters of Williamsport. Kenny was born in Paxton, IL on May 17, 1917. He was the son of Otto and Louisa (Scott) Kietzman. He attended Paxton schools. He had resided in Buckley, Rankin, Hoopeston, and Danville, IL and has been a resident of Warren County the past 30 years. On July 5, 1941 he married Margie P. Atkins in Palmyra, MO. She preceded him in death on February 22, 1999. Kenny was a self employed farmer and dairy farmer. He loved playing cards and croquet. He enjoyed watching westerns and especially enjoyed being with his family. Surviving are, 4 children, Sandra Cooksey (husband: Clyde) of Staunton, IN, Rodney Kietzman (wife: Janie Lynn) of Defiance, OH, Glenna Pate (husband: Marvin) of Williamsport, IN and Michelle Kietzman Pickens (husband: Reggie Pickens) of South Bend, IN; 1 brother, Charles Kietzman of Onarga, IL; 4 sisters, Maxine Newman of Hoopeston, IL, Shirley Rutledge, Ruth Dippel and Mary Hall, all of Peoria, IL; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Kenny was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Denise Gail Bailey, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, 1 granddaughter, Lacey Lynn Kietzman, and 1 grandson, Michael Wayne Williamson. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 from 1:00 P.M. EDT until service time of 3:00 P.M. EDT. Rev. Grover Williams will be officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seeger Memorial High School FFA.
