Peggy J. (Kennedy) Bowman

Peggy J. (Kennedy) Bowman, age 76 of Williamsport, IN was found at her residence at 8:45 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013. Peggy was born on June 19, 1937 in Warren County, IN. She was the daughter of James C. Kennedy and Joene (Shamp) Kennedy Jeffers. She was a 1955 graduate of Williamsport High School. She married Donald L. Wilson in 1956 and they divorced. She later married Jackie Bowman and he preceded her in death in 2007. Peggy worked as an LPN at Edgewood View Nursing Center in Oxford and Woodland Manor Nursing Center in Attica for 30 years. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post #3318 Attica and the Attica Moose Lodge #1482. Peggy enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers. Surviving are, 3 sons, Jeffrey Lee Wilson (fiancee: Missy Timmerman) of rural Attica, IN, Gary Dean Wilson of Michigan City, IN, and John Kenneth Wilson of rural Williamsport, IN; 2 sisters, Sally Brooks (husband: John) of Attica, IN and Dottie Gaskill of Danville, IL; 4 grandchildren, Kristopher Wilson of Attica, IN, Gabriel Dean Wilson of Lafayette, IN, Jordan Renee Smith (husband: Christopher) of Williamsport, IN, and Danielle Nicole Wilson of Lafayette, IN; and 2 great-grandsons. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and 1 son, Donald Michael Wilson. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John T. Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
