Jane Robinson Arms

Jane (Orcutt) Robinson Arms, age 94 of Attica, died at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital at 5:09 A.M. EST on Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Jane was born in Arkansas on November 16, 1913. She was the daughter of Herschel and Tommie (Herren) Orcutt. She was a graduate of Napanee High School. Jane had lived in Attica, IN until moving to Brooksville, Florida in 1956. She resided there until moving back to Attica, where she resided at the Woodland Manor Nursing Center since June, 2006. She married Franklin O. Robinson and he preceded her in death in 1976. She later married William S. Arms and he preceded her in death in June 2006. Jane was a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an accomplished seamstress making most of her clothes and she loved square dancing. Surviving are, 2 sons, James F. Robinson of Attica, IN and Thomas C. Robinson of Seguin, TX; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Torroness of Chicago, IL Patricia Jane Hargan of Attica, IN, Donna M. Baker of Austin, TX and Thomas J. Robinson of Corpus Christi, TX; and 3 great-grandchildren, Will and Jack Hargan, and Holten Robinson. Private family services will be held at a later date in Highland Cemetery.
