Wynnette (Walker) Werkheiser

Wynnette (Walker) Werkheiser, age 50 of Rossville, IL died on Sunday, September 23, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Wynnette was born on January 16, 1962 in Tallahassee, FL. She was the daughter of John and Joan (Prysby) Walker. She graduated from Leon High School in 1980 and later graduated from Indiana Wesleyan College in 2009. On September 14, 1985 she married Morris B. Werkheiser in Tallahassee, FL. She lived in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Rossville, IL in 2003. Wynnette previously worked in the banking industry and later as a lab technician in Williamsport, IN, Hoopeston, IL Regional Medical and most recently for IU Health in Lafayette, IN. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving with her husband, Morris, are, parents, John and Joan Walker; 2 children, Angela Marie Werkheiser, stationed at Hurlburt Field Air Force Base and Gina Michelle Werkheiser of Rossville, IL; and brothers and sister, John Walker (wife: Darlene) of Havana, FL, Sherry Boyette (husband: Sonny) of Lakeland, FL, and Charles Walker (wife: Lynn) of Tallahassee, FL. Visitation will be at Faith Holiness House of Prayer, 726 Woodville Highway, Crawfordville, FL on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at noon with Paul Bryant officiating. Interment will be at Faith Holiness House of Prayer Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date at IU Health Hospital in Lafayette. Memorial donations may be made to the Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.
