William Michael Parker

William Michael Parker, age 64 of Lafayette, IN died at 4:19 a.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at his residence due to heart failure. William was born on June 22, 1948 in Knob Lick, KY. He was the son of W. C. and Rosa (Wheeler) Parker. He attended Fountain Central High School. He lived in Warren, Fountain, and Benton Counties most of his life, living in Lafayette the past 25 years. William was a barber in Indianapolis, Veedersburg, Lafayette, and Williamsport, owning his own business. He was usually seen swinging a metal detector and was an avid collector of antiques. Surviving are, 2 sons, William Alan Parker (wife: Lisa) of Hawaii and Clifton Lee Parker of Crawfordsville, IN; and 4 grandchildren. William was preceded in death by 1 sister, Robie “Bobie” Larson. Graveside services will be held at Bethel Cemetery, Attica, IN on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
