Hilda C. (Jones) Trimble

Hilda C. (Jones) Trimble, age 71 of Williamsport, died at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at RiverCrest Specialty Hospital in Mishawaka, IN. Hilda was born on April 25, 1941 in Hopkinsville, KY. She was the daughter of Arthur Jones and Dora (Phelps) Chaney. She married Billy G. Trimble on April 23, 1962 in Georgia. He survives. Hilda was a longtime resident of Williamsport. Hilda was a homemaker. She loved doing crafts and flower arrangements. Her little dog, Felicity, was the light of her life and had just passed away about a year ago after bringing her joy for 20 years. Surviving with her husband, are, 3 children, Billy W. Trimble of Lafayette, IN, Anita A. Phelps and Richard “Dusty” Trimble, both of Williamsport; 2 brothers, Thomas Jones (wife: Karen) of Attica, IN and Leo Jones (wife: Susie) of Science Hill, KY; and 1 sister, Wilda Childers (husband: Finis) of Somerset, KY. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents. A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery in Williamsport on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating.
