Eileen D. (Stevenson) Andrews

Eileen D. (Stevenson) Andrews, age 103 of Danville, IL, formerly of West Lebanon, IN died at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at her residence. Eileen was born on January 18, 1909 in Attica, IN. She was the daughter of Herman and Blanche (Larrabee) Stevenson. She was a 1927 graduate of Attica High School and was a Warren County resident most of her life. She married William W. Andrews on December 24, 1935 in Greenfield, IN. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2001. Eileen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Danville, IL. She was a volunteer for many years at Lakeview Hospital. She enjoyed art painting and her vegetable garden. She was a great cook. Her church was first and foremost in her life. Surviving are, 3 children, Elaine Alsup (husband: James) of San Diego, CA, Donald W. Andrews (wife: Diane) of West Lebanon, IN and William G. Andrews (wife: Deborah) of Carmel, IN 8 grandchildren, Rodney Andrews, Robin Andrews, Ryan Andrews, Andrew Alsup, Rebecca Lindblade, Blake Andrews, Jennifer Andrews, Isaac Andrews, and 17 great-grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Wendell and Dale Stevenson, 1 sister, Lorena Hartz, and a grandson, Randy Andrews. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. EST. Services will be at First Baptist Church, 1211 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. CST with grandson, Pastor Rod Andrews officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery in West Lebanon, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church.
