Diane L. (Hall) Knowles

West Lebanon- Diane L (Hall) Knowles age 67 of West Lebanon died unexpectedly at her daughter Raechelle Latham’s home in Marshfield at 11:09 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Diane was born in Danville, IL on January 29, 1944. She was the daughter of Walter and Barbara Hall. Diane was a graduate of Danville High School. She married Gilbert E. Knowles on August 18, 1979. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1984. Diane was retired from the VA Illiana Health Care in Danville IL. She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, cooking, with beef and noodles being her specialty. She was a ceramic buff, and had a large collection of clown figurines. Diane especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are, 4 children, Raechelle Latham (husband: Bob) of Marshfield, IN, Tracy Ramirez (husband: Joe) of Phoenix, AZ, Susan Burd of Lafayette, IN, and Adam Knowles (wife:Tracy) of Las Vegas, NV. 8 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren Diane was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gilbert, and 2 sisters, Darla Unakis, and Donna Vega. Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in West Lebanon, IN on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. EDT. Celebration of life will follow at 7:00 p.m. EDT with minister Gary Johnson officiating. Inurnment will be in West Lebanon Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
