Susan Ann Brenner

Susan Ann Brenner, age 58 of West Lebanon, IN died at 2:10 p.m. CST on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Danville Care Center in Danville, IL after a short battle with cancer. Susan was born on September 2, 1952 in Crawfordsville, IN. She was the daughter of H. James and Ethel M. Brenner. She was a 1970 graduate of Seeger High School and attended Indiana State University. She lived her entire life in West Lebanon. Susie worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Danville, IL for 20 years. She was an active member of the West Lebanon Christian Church and was the High School Youth Group Leader for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Susan was known as the family “historian”. Surviving are, 1 daughter, Sheila Jewel Trent (husband: Brian) of Norwalk, OH; grandchildren, Jessica, Kayla, Ty, Cheyenne and Matthew; brothers, Mike Brenner (wife: Connie) of West Lebanon and Dean Brenner of Mt. Morris, IL; nieces, Annette Bray and Michelle Blackburn; and nephews, Tony Brenner, Jeff Brenner and Andy Brenner. She had many special aunts and cousins. Susan was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be at the West Lebanon Christian Church on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Bruce Thornsbrough officiating. Interment will be at West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Lebanon Christian Church or the American Cancer Society.
